Avi Silberstein founded Titan Hosting LLC in 2004. He had no knowledge of the web hosting industry and simply saw an ad to start a web hosting business. Not knowing what he was getting into he found the web hosting industry to be a very profitable and interesting. Unfortunately, he had no knowledge going in, so he made quite a few mistakes. Avi Silberstein didn't know what software to buy, where to buy it, where to get a website, the right kind of account to get, or anything that is described in this book. Over the next 3 years (actually slightly under 3 years) Avi Silberstein learned from his mistakes and from talking to others that were already in the web hosting industry. After this he got the idea of writing his own book about how to start a web hosting industry. He had learned so much from running his company and growing from a reseller account to multiple dedicated servers; that he has decided to share what he's learned.
